City-Region-Academia stream
The aim of the initiative is to combine the efforts of all those interested in building the City of Science. The programme consists of initiatives such as: popular science events, scientific conferences, congresses, music and cultural events, festivals, as well as social initiatives and recreational events, including events and initiatives that have been undertaken for many years.
The initiatives will be implemented by the City of Katowice, Metropolis GZM, the Silesian Voivodeship and universities belonging to the Academic Consortium Katowice City of Science – employees of entities organising ECSK 2024, students and PhD students, residents, the scientific community, representatives of culture, art, education and business, as well as social activists.
