Material aid for students from Ukraine

The University of Silesia offers aid for students from Ukraine. They can benefit from financial aid or free studies.

 

Financial Aid

 

How to apply?

In order to receive financial aid you have to apply in the USOS system (“common section” tab, – “Applications”), choose the application for financial aid, fill in the electronic form, and register it in the system.

It is the only document required to be filled in to receive the allowance.

 

Conditions for applying for financial aid

Students who are citizens of Ukraine admitted for studies after 1 October 2019 do not have to meet any additional requirements when applying for financial aid.

Students from Ukraine admitted for studies before 1 October 2019 and would like to receive this form of aid, please contact your dean’s office. The employees will tell you whether it is possible and will help you in the entire process. Free studies

 

The same group of students from Ukraine, the education at the University of Silesia will be free. You are exempt from the tuition fee in the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022. In the case of this form of aid, it is not required to apply or fill in any application form.

People who are in arrears in paying studies-related fees may apply to postpone the payment deadline. In order to do so, you have you write an application form to a Faculty’s Dean and submit it at your dean’s office.
