Assoc. Prof. Stefan Lechwar, Professor of the University of Silesia from the Faculty of Arts and Educational Science at the University of Silesia has been appointed one of the directors of CEIDA (China Europe International Design Culture Association) with its seat in Antwerp, Belgium. This is an international association, whose goal is to exchange experiences in the following fields: culture, art and education on the East-West axis. It also handles the organisation of symposia, exhibitions, competitions and trainings in visual and applied arts, with particular focus on graphic design, pattern-designing and architecture.
This year Prof. Stefan Lechwar has also joined Borderless Graphic Designers – an international group established in Vancouver, Canada. BGD specialises in organising global exhibitions of posters and trainings in the field of graphic design.
