Programme for funding the research needs of teams focused on Priority Research Areas

One of the support areas under Research Excellence Initiative is infrastructure. The goal of the programme is to support scientific, research and development work of teams focused on Priority Research Areas (PRAs).

In 2020, over PLN 1 million was allocated for the funding of research needs of teams, with particular focus on the purchase, retrofitting and maintenance of infrastructure. The ordered devices include:

  • crusher and planetary ball mill for developing preparations for geochemical studies,
  • alpha spectrometer for studying environmental samples with low content of radioactive elements,
  • lens with components for digital microscope,
  • growth chamber for breeding plants in strictly specified conditions,
  • silk-screen printer that enables precise, effective and repeatable application of paste,
  • twin screw extruder for producing a mixture of polymers with active substances,
  • as well as specialist chemical reagents for scientific research on the effects of nanoparticles on organisms.
