The competition took place on 26 March 2022 in Katowice and featured over 60 contestants from such universities and clubs as: the University of Silesia, the host of the event; AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow; the University of Physical Education in Cracow; the University of Economics in Katowice, Collegium Humanum, Balance Sport, Akademia Talentów, and the Studio OK.
Our University’s representatives took the following:
- Sandra Seweryn – 1st place in the category solo adult;
- Aleksandra Jawoszek and Sandra Seweryn – 1st place in the category duo adult;
- Aleksandra Zięba, Dominika Bryła, Iryna Svynarenko, Ines Juzaszek, Paulina Płachta – 2nd place in the category team adult;
- Aleksandra Ola Jawoszek – 2nd place in the category solo adult;
- Dominika Bryła – 3rd place in the category solo adult.
Additionally, Sandra Seweryn, Aleksandra Jawoszek, and Dominika Bryła took 1st place during the Silesian Academic Championships in the category solo adult.
The University of Silesia took 1st place in the general classification of the University of Silesia Rector’s Cup and the Silesian Academic Championships.
The coach of our team is Katarzyna Ostrowska from the Centre for Physical Education and Sport.
