„Times Higher Education” has just published the World University Rankings 2020, with the University of Silesia in Katowice included in five categories.
The University of Silesia was placed on the list in Arts & Humanities and Social Sciences categories for the first time.
The University of Silesia moved up to the 5th position in Life Sciences, maintained the 2nd place in Education and was ranked 9th in Physical Sciences, if we take into account only Polish universities.
World University Rankings is a list of the best universities, based on implementation of the university’s mission and divided into eleven scientific disciplines.
The ranking is created on the basis of five indicators: number of citations, transfer of knowledge, level of internationalisation, quality of scientific research and teaching.
