On Thursday, 9 May 2024, the guest of the Centre for Korean Language and Culture (CJiKK) at the University of Silesia in Katowice was the vice-consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Poland – Chang Hyeon Nam. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the proposals for cooperation between CJiKK and the embassy and to support the centre in various activities for Polish-Korean cooperation.

During the visit, Vice-Consul Chang Hyeon Nam met with students of the University of Silesia and representatives from the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis to provide detailed information on applying for an H1 visa – the so-called Working Holiday. The meeting with the diplomat was also an excellent opportunity to talk about life, study and work opportunities in the Republic of Korea.
