Lecturers of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School nominated for Eagles 2021

Polish Film Academy has announced the nominations for the 23rd Polish Film Awards: Eagles. Among the nominees in as many as four categories were lecturers and a graduate of the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School of University of Silesia in Katowice:

  • Best Film – “Jak najdalej stąd” (“I never cry”) directed by Piotr Domalewski, a graduate of Film and Television Directing at our Alma Mater, who has also received nominations in the categories of best director and best screenplay.
  • Best Fictional Drama Series – “Król” (“The King”) directed by Jan P. Matuszyński, and “W głębi lasu” (“The Woods”) directed by Bartosz Konopka and Leszek Dawid. Jan P. Matuszyński, PhD and Bartosz Konopka, MA are lecturers of Film and Television Directing at Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School.

The Eagles Gala 2021 is scheduled for the turn of May and June.
