On 9–13 September 2024, Katowice will once again become the centre of the world’s science and innovation. Young scientists from all over the world come to our city to participate in the prestigious EUCYS contest. It is an incredible event bringing together people who wish to present their novel scientific projects in such areas of knowledge as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and engineering.
The EU TalantOn competition will take place in parallel, bringing together generations of scientists and passionate innovators. This event features not only scientific presentations but also workshops, lectures, and meetings with outstanding personalities from the world of science, which will allow audience members to deepen their knowledge, develop passions, and establish valuable contacts.
It is a great opportunity for University of Silesia students to see first-hand what is the European City of Science and feel the USil community atmosphere before the academic year starts for good. It is a perfect moment to experience the world of science and innovation at its best. It is an opportunity to take part in interesting activities, see with your own eyes how young scientists from all over the world present their innovative projects and take part in meetings and workshops, which will stimulate your curiosity and passion for science.
