Study and career guidance
What is study and career guidance? It is a meeting or a series of meetings where you will receive information, tips, and advice on choosing a study programme, the job market situation, career prospects after graduation, employment opportunities during your studies, as well as internships and apprenticeships.
What can you get?
Thanks to the insights gained during the advisory session, you will expand your knowledge of what to expect when choosing a particular field of study and how to shape your career path. Remember, the advisor’s support is meant to help you develop your competencies, but all decisions are yours to make!
What else can you expect?
- Assessment of professional predispositions and competencies: If you want to determine in which areas you have potential and assess your competency levels for specific professions, you can take online tests available at our office and discuss the results with an advisor.
- Individual action plan: Every advisory process is different. Based on your needs, the advisor will work with you to develop an action plan. Once we define your goal, we will select the best path to help you achieve it!
Who can participate?
Study and career guidance sessions are available for prospective students applying for first- and second-cycle degree programmes (for second-cycle applicants, this applies to graduates of universities other than the University of Silesia) as well as long-cycle master’s programmes.
How to schedule a consultation? You can book a consultation via the registration form , by phone, or by email.
