What is the MOST programme?

Students’ and PhD Students’ Mobility Programme MOST is addressed to first and second cycle students as well as long cycle studies students. It enables one to complete a semester or one year of studies at a non-home university. A participant in this programme has the right to apply for admission to the university of choice and the right to choose subjects realised in various semesters of study in a given field or related fields, based on existing study programmes at a given university. Doctoral students admitted to doctoral studies before 1 October 2019 have the right to take part in the Programme offered for doctoral students.

The MOST programme step by step

1. The registration link is available at: www.most.amu.edu.pl enables browsing the places offered by the universities and subsequent registration for the chosen field (or fields) or discipline (in the case of doctoral students).
2. A student or doctoral student logs in using the same ID and password as for the USOSweb service.
3. After registering on the website and entering all necessary information, print the complete application. After completing the registration, the doctoral student is obliged to contact the head of the doctoral studies of the faculty of choice to undergo training under the Programme and provide the supervisor’s opinion.
4. The student signs the application and submits it to the dean (head of the teaching unit) in order to obtain the approval. The doctoral student submits the application for approval to the head of doctoral studies.
5. The student submits the application approved by the dean (the head of unit) to the university MOST programme coordinator: Ewa Lipska, MA, ul. The application is subject to the approval of the Vice-Rector of the University of Silesia. education and students. In the case of doctoral students, this procedure shall apply accordingly.
6. The Office of the University Education Commission decides to allocate the student at the university of choice and the field(s) of study indicated in the application. The decision to qualify a doctoral student to participate in the Programme is made by the head of doctoral studies at the host university.

Deadlines

  • from 15 April to 15 May – online registration of candidates for the MOST Programme on the website: https://most.uka.uw.edu.pl/ for the winter semester or the whole year;
  • by 30 November – registration for the summer semester;
  • by 15 May – for the winter semester or the whole year – the deadline for submitting to the Education Department of the University of Silesia applications approved by the head of the parent unit for approval by the Vice-Rector of the University of Silesia for Education and Student Affairs;
  • by 30 November – for the summer semester – the deadline for submitting to the Education Department of the University of Silesia applications accepted by the head of the parent unit for approval by the Vice-Rector of the University of Silesia for Education and Student Affairs.
