With reference to the ordinance No. 28/2020 of the Rector of the University of Silesia and the general situation, the administrative activity of the Doctoral School at the University of Silesia in Katowice will be conducted online. From the begining of June, the office is open everyday with one or more member of staff, but we still encourage you to contact with us by the electronic tools. In all matters, you can contact us electronically via our mailbox: szkola.doktorska@us.edu.pl. Matters that require direct contact should also be arranged this way.
In accordance with the Rector’s ordinance, education is conducted on-line until the end of the summer term.
Each doctoral student of the Doctoral School has free access to the Office 365 service, which can be activated via USOSweb. The Microsoft Teams tool is available in this service, very useful when working online. We encourage all PhD students and employees to familiarize themselves with this tool. Thanks to this tool it will be possible to conduct teleconferences, video calls and chat with employees during their work shift. Everyday between 9:00 and 13:00 not less then one person from the administration will we avalible on the platform.
