Registration for optional courses in the winter semester will start in USOSweb on October 5 (Thursday) at 15:00 and will last until October 9 (Monday) until 11:00.

All doctoral students may register on equal terms. Each doctoral student may choose a maximum of 3 courses during registration (if you wish to participate in more than three courses, please ask about that in the Doctoral School office after registration).

All optional courses have 2 ECTS. According to the current education programs, doctoral students should complete optional classes for at least 9 ECTS (2nd, 3rd and 4th year) or 8 ECTS (1st year) throughout their entire education period. There is no upper limit – people who have already obtained the appropriate number of ECTS can still sign up for classes.

Organizational notes

• Courses names in English in USOS will be available before registration
• more detailed descriptions of classes can be found in the syllabuses on USOSweb (now may be found by USOS code)
• in case of inconsistencies between USOSweb and the attached table, it should be assumed that the data in the table are correct and have not been updated in USOSweb yet
• after registration is completed, a decision will be made about which courses will be launched; if too few doctoral students sign up for the classes (1-2 people), registered doctoral students will receive such a message. If you do not receive the message, classes are started. Due to the specificity of disciplines, some classes will be conducted even for one doctoral student
• only general locations regarding buildings or campuses are specified in the file, rooms will be announced after registration is completed
• in some cases, the teachers are open to setting a date for doctoral students
• the shared file will be updated in case of changes – changed cells will be marked in yellow
