Inauguration of the academic year 2023/2024 of the Doctoral School took place on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Andrzej Pawlikowski’s auditorium in the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice. The ceremony was started by the Dean of the Doctoral School, prof. Alina Świeściak-Fast. During the ceremony, doctoral students were matriculated. Inaugural lecture entitled „Is fiction more philosophical than reality” delivered by prof. Krzysztof Kłosiński.
