University of Silesia in Katowice

On December 12, the competition committee appointed by the Dean of the Doctoral School considered applications submitted in the competition to increase the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of doctoral schools of the University of Silesia in Katowice.

After analyzing 73 applications (65 doctoral students of the Doctoral School and 8 doctoral students of the International Environmental Doctoral School), the committee awarded an increase in the scholarship to 35 doctoral students (32 DS and 3 IEDS).

The distinguished doctoral students demonstrated the highest-rated scientific and artistic achievements, which in particular include publications in renowned journals and obtained grants, and in the case of doctoral students in artistic disciplines – independent and team achievements of global importance.
