Editors: Ryszard Knapek
We present the initial offer of optional and specialized courses for doctoral students for the academic year 2024/2025. All doctoral students who are going to take part in optional courses in the coming academic year are asked to read the offer and vote in the survey by April 26. Only the courses you indicate will be offered in the next academic year.

Offer: facultative and specialized courses – selection of an offer for 2024-2025

Survey: https://forms.office.com/e/eR6Adw58mh

The offer in the file is very extensive, so it has been divided into semesters and facultative/specialized courses. The survey is divided only into faculties. This does not mean, however, that doctoral students of a given faculty can choose classes only from their faculty. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the entire offer. Especially in the case of optional courses, the place of employment of an academic teacher is only of minor importance.

What is the difference between facultative and specialized classes?

The offer of optional courses is divided into facultative and specialized. Facultative courses are open to everyone and do not require any specialized knowledge at the entrance. They present knowledge introducing a given issue or provide the so-called soft skills. The disciplines listed are only suggestions.

Specialized courses require participants’ prior knowledge or specific competencies, so upon registration, they will only be available to doctoral students of specific disciplines.

This division was prepared due to the reported needs and corresponds to the division in the education program for doctoral students who will start their education in the academic year 2024/2025. From the perspective of the education programs of current doctoral students, both forms serve to pass optional courses.
