Admission committee to the Doctoral School 2025/2026
The Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice appointed admission committees whose task is to conduct the admission procedure to the Doctoral School for the academic year 2025/2026. The procedure will be conducted by the main Admission Committee, which decides on the course of the admission and approves the results of the procedure, and considers applications for appeals and three field-related admission committees, whose main task is the substantive evaluation of candidates for the Doctoral School, including in particular the assessment of submitted documents and conducting interviews.
Pursuant to § 4 sec. 11 of the admission resolution, registered candidates may raise objections to the composition of the commission, if the participation of a given commission member raises justified reservations as to his impartiality.
Objections should be sent to the chairman of the relevant field-related admission committee, adding the secretary of this committee to the information.
