The project: „Understanding the role of ABA in climate resilience through alternative splicing in barley

PhD Supervisor: Dr hab. Agata Daszkowska-Golec, prof. UŚ, University of Silesia in Katowice

PhD Advisor: Dr Giedrė Kacienė, Vytautas Magnus University

Highlights:

  1. Drought is one of the most damaging factors for crops, thus elucidating the molecular regulators of drought-responsive pathways is imperative for advancing resilient and sustainable agriculture.
  2. Investigating abscisic acid (ABA) signaling pathways offers critical insights into the development of climate resilient crops.
  3. Alternative splicing may play a pivotal role in modulating ABA signaling and regulating plant responses to environmental stress.
