Accessibility of the entrance to the building and control area

The building is labelled with an information board.

The entrance to the building is located on the side of ul. Grażyńskiego 53. In front of the entrance, there is an installed slipway that enables to enter the building in a wheelchair.

The reception desk is located 4 metres from the entrance door. At the reception desk, you can get information about the location of rooms where specific lecturers work, and ask for the stair platform to be launched.

Accessibility of corridors, stairs and lifts

The building consists of two parts: old and new. It has two staircases and two lifts. There is appropriate manoeuvering space in front of the lift door. The lifts are equipped with handrails and automatically opened doors. The lifts have buttons marked with the Braille alphabet. The button 0 is distinguished.

The corridors are wide – 120 cm.

The staircase with impeded access has a stair platform with a size of 69 × 125 cm and carrying capacity of 225 kg.

To get from the entrance with levelled architectural barriers (level -1) to the porter’s lodge (level 0), you should take the lift.

The employees of the porter’s lodge located in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance can help you reach the specific location in the building.

Types of adjustments inside the building

Toilets in the educational (old) part of the building.

Ground floor: in front of the entrance to the corridor – female on the left, male on the right, at the end of the corridor – female toilet on the right and two toilets in gym changing rooms.

1st floor: male and female toilets on the left from the first staircase, male toilet near the second staircase.

2nd floor: male and female toilets on the left from the first staircase, male and female toilets near the second staircase.

Toilets of the part with rooms (new) in the building.

Ground floor: female toilet on the right from the lift (first staircase), toilet for the disabled – second door of the corridor behind the first staircase on the right; the door has a width of 90 cm, the free toilet space has a radius of 1.5 m, there are holders on both sides of the toilet, one holder near the toilet bowl is lifted, the holder near the washbasin on the left, the light switch at a height of 1 m, towel feeds, toilet paper, the waste bin is under the towel feed, alarm can be heard at the reception desk.

3rd floor: female toilet – on the right from the lift (first staircase), male toilet – second door of the corridor behind the first staircase on the right side.

4th floor – female toilet – on the right from the lift (first staircase), male toilet – second door of the corridor behind the first staircase on the right side.

The counters in the dean’s office were lowered to the height of 1.15 m.

The Józef Pieter Lecture Hall is fitted with an audio induction loop making it easier to hear using a hearing aid. The quiet room is located in room 1.

Parking places designated for persons with disabilities and exploitation thereof

Two parking spaces for the disabled are located in the student car park. Getting there from ul. Oblatów, the first barrier on the right side from the opposite direction, the last barrier on the left. Access to the car park only with an active pedagogy or psychology student identity card. Parking on the space for the disabled available only for the disabled parking card holders.

Parking in these spaces is free of charge.
