On 13 December, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice, a letter of intent was signed regarding cooperation between the University of Silesia and the Silesia Pro Active foundation – the organiser of the Silesia Marathon.
The cooperation aim will be to undertake joint educational and information activities as well as to organise events promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle in our region. The joint exchange of knowledge and experiences will enable the implementation of various valuable initiatives. The 15th edition of the Silesia Marathon will take place under the auspices of the University of Silesia, which will thus become a partner of the largest running event in the Silesian Voivodeship.
The event was accompanied by a press briefing, during which the journalists could ask questions to Prof. Ryszard Koziołek – Rector of the University of Silesia, Aleksander Fangor – representative of the Centre for Physical Education and Sport of the University of Silesia and Bohdan Witwicki – chair of the Silesia Pro Active foundation.
Registration for Silesia Marathon 2023 starts on 15 December!
