The final session of the Senate of the University of Silesia in Katowice in 2016-2020 term took place on Tuesday, 30 June 2020 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Sosnowiec. The meeting was conducted remotely with direct participation of the members of the Senate who expressed the will to do so.
The session was an opportunity to summarise the passing Senate term. This part of the meeting was available for the academic community by means of online transmission. During the session, Prof. Andrzej Kowalczyk, Rector of the University of Silesia, presented a report of the University of Silesia authorities on the operation and activities of the Silesian Alma Mater in 2016–2020.
