Prof. Paul Lagarde is one of the most outstanding contemporary lawyers dealing with private international law. He is a respected author of numerous publications aimed at the development of this discipline, which over the past few decades have been a source of interpretation for representatives of science and law practice all over the world, including Poland. Prof. Paul Lagarde participated in numerous government delegations and expert groups that made a significant contribution to the development of international law instruments and have played a prominent role in the development of international cooperation among European countries.
