University of Silesia in Katowice

People actively participating in the 6th Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE (ŚFN) on 3-5 December may excuse their absence in classes based on a certificate issued by the event organisers. The Deans were requested to make it possible for students and employees to take part in the Festival and count their active participation in the Festival on 4-5 December as participation in the classes.
The University Authorities count on active participation of the USil community in the Festival, which is the biggest science communication event in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe. The Festival is one of the foundations in the preparation of Katowice to be the European City of Science 2024.
