Physical Education
The Centre for Physical Education and Sport is an inter-faculty unit which provides physical education teaching services to the university’s constituent units in the form of:
- compulsory classes,
- elective classes.
Compulsory classes are delivered in accordance with the physical education and sport programme approved by the Rector. Students influence the selection of specific compulsory physical activity classes by declaring their wish to practise particular sports and recreational disciplines.
Elective classes are organised for students who are not enrolled in compulsory classes and wish to take part in organised physical activities.
The Centre for Physical Education and Sport also brings together particularly talented young people through the sports sections of the University Club of the Academic Sports Association (AZS).
