University of Silesia in Katowice

First-year students of all programmes should participate in adaptation meetings, which take place at each faculty of the University of Silesia, and are organized every year by the Student Government of the University of Silesia. The topics discussed during adaptation meetings include, among others:

• the structure of the University and the structure of a given faculty,
• The Rules and Regulations of studies at the University of Silesia – Your Rights and Obligations,
• information on personal development support and career support,
• the ECTS points system and the USOSweb service,
• Health and Safety [BHP] training.
