The third Project Week will take place from 11 to 15 May, allowing students of the University of Silesia to develop various skills and competencies, as well as to expand their knowledge within their previously selected module. This time, the initiative is carried out under the title Love Week.

This is a special time within the academic year, when most students have the opportunity to participate in workshops and classes focused on collaborative group projects. The classes are intended for students in the second and fourth semesters of 1st cycle studies and long-cycle studies whose curricula include area-specific classes. Full-time students will participate in 15 hours of workshops or project work. Part-time students will participate in 8 hours of workshops on 8, 9, and 16 May.

Classes will be held in an on-site form (at the Katowice and Sosnowiec campuses) in two blocks: morning (9.00–11.30 a.m.) and afternoon (12.30–3.00 p.m.).

As in previous years, students who do not participate in Project Week will be offered in-person or remote synchronous classes (taking into account available infrastructure, teaching needs, etc.). The deans of individual faculties will decide on the method of conducting classes (if you do not receive information on the method of conducting classes during Project Week, please contact degree programme directors or the dean’s office).

We would also like to inform you that instructors teaching during Project Week may conduct the classes scheduled for students not participating in Project Week—remotely asynchronously, synchronously, or at another time on-site—in consultation with degree programme directors, ensuring the highest quality of education.
