Individual Organization of Studies (IOS)
- it is directed at students who found themselves in a situation that prevents continuation of the course of studies according to the general principles and need special course of education organisation.
- it is designated for one semester,
- it allows, upon prior agreement with the tutor, for individual arrangement of class terms, credits and exams and for rescheduling of credits or earlier exit from classes,
- It may concern all subjects from the curriculum in a given semester or only some – then, in case of the remaining subjects the student is obliged to participate in classes on general principles. A student who obtained consent for IOS is not obliged to attend all classes according to the general principles, however, he or she must establish with the class tutor the manner of participation and passing these subjects.
Who may apply for IOS?
- a pregnant student,
- a student who is a parent – regardless of the child’s age,
- In other cases – i.e. studying on another programme or major simultaneously, participation in an inter-university exchange.
