University of Silesia in Katowice

We want to remind you that the payment for accommodation in student residence halls is to be made via bank transfer to the University of Silesia account. Details:

In the ‘transfer title’ you have to enter:

•         number/name of your student residence hall;
•         city your student residence hall is located in;
•         period the payment is made for;
•         full name of the resident (if the transfer is made from another person’s account);
•         in the case of students and PhD students – the name of the University and your Faculty.

You can also pay the fee for Student Residence Halls by card at dedicated points at each academic housing estate (OA):

• OA Ligota – sheet storage (DS 7, ul. Studencka 16), Mon–Fri at 7.30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• OA Cieszyn – ‘UŚKA’ Student Residence Hall (administration room No. 14) and ‘DSN’ Student Residence Hall (administration room No. 126), Mon–Fri at 7.30 a.m. – 2.30 p.m.
• OA Sosnowiec – office (DS 5, ul. Lwowska 8), Tue at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.The payment due for each month is to be paid by the last day of a given month, apart from October; the payment for October is to be made for the entire month in advance, regardless of the actual time of residing at the Hall. The statutory interest is calculated from the untimely paid fees for each day of delay in payment.
