All doctoral students of the Doctoral School have opportunities for broadening the scope of their education and conducting research in international academic environment. Depending on their needs, it might be participation in university classes, other forms of education and knowledge exchange, internship, or conducting part or the whole of their research in cooperation with foreign institutions. Another important aspect is presenting one’s achievements at international scientific conferences, both in Poland and abroad. In case of the whole of a doctorate being prepared in cooperation with another academic centre, the doctoral degree may be of international nature, i.e. conferred jointly by the University of Silesia and the other institution. The Doctoral School is currently establishing contacts with foreign partners.
