Announcement of a competition to increase the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of doctoral schools for the academic year 2025/2026
Announcement
On November 7, 2025, the Dean of the Doctoral School announces a competition to increase the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of Doctoral Schools under the Scientific Excellence Initiative for the academic year 2025/2026.
The competition aims to select the top 10 percent of doctoral students in the second, third, and fourth year of education, in particular areas of education at the Doctoral School and the International Community Doctoral School.
Persons submitting applications are obliged to familiarize themselves with the Regulations for granting an increase in the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of doctoral schools at the University of Silesia under the Research Excellence Initiative and the criteria attached to the Regulations:

Deadlines and form of submitting applications
The application period will last until November 26, 12:00.
Applications in paper form should be submitted to the office of the doctoral school where the doctoral student is studying, during office hours. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Application forms
The application should be submitted on the form attached below, in Polish or English. No application in English is available for doctoral students in artistic disciplines (there are no non-Polish-speaking doctoral students in these disciplines)
