Due to the growing number of COVID-19 infections and introduction of epidemic risk level 2 at the University of Silesia, short-term (temporary) stays in student residence halls and teacher residence halls are only possible if this is necessary to take part in on-site classes.
When registering at the student residence hall or teacher residence hall, any individuals who want to use this option should prove that they will participate in on-site classes during this time. Participation in classes can be confirmed by e-mail with information about on-site classes, current schedule of classes or schedule of sessions.
Moreover, to answer the question if the residents can leave the student residence halls (dorms), e.g. for the weekend, please be informed that there are currently no restrictions in this respect (apart from the people in quarantine). However, when you return to the student residence hall (dorm), you have to submit the “COVID” statement again.
Please also remember that to minimise the risk for health and life, any visits of individuals who do not live in the specific student residence hall or teacher residence hall are forbidden until revoked.
