Find the supervisor
If you’re choosing the University of Silesia in Katowice as the place to prepare your doctoral dissertation, first determine which researcher from this university you’d like to work with. Perhaps you’ve previously worked with someone from our university who’s now inviting you to collaborate, or you’re applying for a specific grant project. If so, you’ve already completed this step. If not, begin searching for your supervisor by following the steps described below.
It applies to disciplines from all faculties except the Faculty of Science and Technology, i.e.: Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law and Administration, Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Arts and Educational Sciences, Film School.

Note – admission to a grant is possible anytime in the year, but most of them are announced at Spring (April-June) and Autumn (September-October).
