Digital Creativity Art & Science (DigiCrea)
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master

DigiCrea is a 2-year (120 ECTS) master’s degree delivered collaboratively by Université Jean Monnet (France), Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal), and University of Silesia (Poland), with mandatory study mobility across these three countries.

Key program highlights:

  • Interdisciplinary Curriculum – Students engage in a broad spectrum of fields including audio, visual imaging, extended reality (XR encompassing VR/AR/MR), and artificial intelligence. This multidisciplinary approach equips participants with both exceptional artistic skills and advanced technological knowledge.
  • International Experience – By studying in France, Portugal, and Poland, students gain rich intercultural exposure and learn to work in international teams, an essential preparation for today’s global creative industries.
  • Generous Scholarships – Approximately 82% of enrolled students will receive a monthly Erasmus Mundus scholarship of €1,400 throughout the 24-month program, greatly reducing financial barriers for top candidates.
  • Career-Ready Focus – The curriculum emphasizes practical projects and collaboration, preparing graduates for careers in the creative, technological, and audiovisual sectors. Alumni will be equipped to enter fields such as film, music, gaming, digital arts and beyond, with a strong foundation in both creativity and technology.

Major (specialization): Image
The “Image” major (specialization) within the DigiCrea program trains experts in contemporary audiovisual media, with a focus on film, video games, and extended reality (XR). Using cutting-edge technologies, students develop ad vanced image creation, editing, and post-production skills. The curriculum emphasizes creativity, visual storytelling, and technical proficiency, preparing graduates for innovative work in digital media industries.

Major (specialization): Sound & Music
The “Sound & Music” major (specialization) prepares students for sound design, music composition, and audio pro duction careers for film, video games, and XR environments. Through hands-on training and theoretical modules, students gain expertise in recording, editing, mixing, and creating interactive and algorithmic sound. The program fosters artistic expression and technical mastery, enabling graduates to lead in the evolving field of audio for digital media.

The key dates of the current, second call for applications:

  • the deadline for submitting all required documents is 16 February 2026 at 11:00 p.m. (French time)

  • this will be followed by the first stage of application selection (from 16 February to 15 March),
  • the next stage will consist of admission interviews,
  • the final admission results are expected to be announced in early April.
