Organisation of education

  1. Classes on-site. Remote classes in accordance with the general guidelines concerning online education.
  2. Absence on classes to be excused in accordance with the general terms adopted by the module coordinator.
  3. Academic consultations conducted mainly in the premises of the University – in accordance with the schedule and applicable regulations at the University of Silesia.
  4. Credits and exams in accordance with the provisions in syllabuses of modules and curriculum.

Organisation and participation in events

Organisation of events in accordance with the procedures and regulations applicable at the University and subject to maintaining the basic rules of hygiene and safety at work, basic sanitary regime and consent of the relevant authorities.

  1. Communication by e-mail, phone or directly. Doctoral students receive the most important information via the mailing list.
  2. Meetings of team managing the doctoral school with all PhD students via MS Teams every two weeks.
  3. Doctoral students can provide all documents online. E-mail sent from an address in us.edu.pl is regarded as a signed document, unless the procedure applied in a particular case excludes such a solution.

Organisation of education

  1. Classes on-site in accordance with the schedule. Remote classes in accordance with the general guidelines concerning online education, using the tools recommended by the University.
  2. Consultations conducted in accordance with the internal regulations of the University of Silesia, taking into consideration the number of students and form of studies at which the academic conducts classes in the specific semester.
  3. Credits and exams in accordance with the provisions in syllabuses of modules and curriculum.

 

Work organisation

Implementation of research, organisational and teaching duties in accordance with the procedures and regulations applicable at the University and subject to maintaining the basic rules of hygiene and safety at work.

The employees in quarantine and the employees in mandatory home isolation may, subject to the employer’s approval, perform the work specified in the contract of employment remotely and receive remuneration for performing their duties.
