Do you need to complete a mandatory internship?
Internship programmes are organised in a slightly different way at each Faculty. Your Internship Supervisor will provide you with all information you need.

in the business you are interested in, or use the Database of Good Internship Providers.
The database was created as part of the project ‘Practice makes perfect. Student internship in the face of legal, social and economic changes’. Its aim was to improve the system of student internship at the University of Silesia in the degree programmes with a practical profile.
It was originally created for students of degree programmes with practical profiles, but it will be successively expanded to include more companies that will be willing to accept apprentices from faculties at the University of Silesia. You can check whether the company is looking for apprentices from your degree programmes in the column ‘Preferred degree programmes’.
Do you want to complete an additional, extra – mandatory internship?
First of all, you need to know that in the case of a voluntary internship, the university does not control it and does not act as an intermediary in signing the internship contract. If a company representative asks you to sign a tripartite agreement, please remember that it is not possible, and the company should use a nationwide template of a graduate internship agreement (a graduate is understood as a graduate of a secondary school). We can, of course, prepare a Letter of Recommendation for you.
