Drodzy Studenci, Mieszkańcy DS 7,
trwają prace przygotowawcze do termomodernizacji, która rozpocznie się w lipcu bieżącego roku. Mamy świadomość, że związany z tym hałas może utrudniać zdalną naukę i pracę. Dbając o komfort realizowania codziennych obowiązków uczelnianych i innych zajęć oraz jak najlepsze warunki mieszkaniowe w akademikach UŚ, proponujemy Wam do wyboru tymczasowe rozwiązania, które
z pewnością zmniejszą uciążliwość związaną z dalszą realizacją robót przygotowawczych.
Na czas realizowania prac, które utrudniają codzienną pracę i naukę w akademiku, osoby chętne mogą skorzystać z jednego z następujących rozwiązań:
- Całkowita zmiana dotychczasowego miejsca zamieszkania i przeprowadzka do DS1 lub do akademika na Osiedlu Akademickim w Sosnowcu.
Jak to zrobić?
a) Kontakt z administratorami DS7
b) Uzyskanie karty zamiany
c) Kontakt z Administratorem wybranego akademika (Katowice DS1 sonnenfeld@us.edu.pl, Sosnowiec aleksandra.wollny@us.edu.pl ).
- W ciągu dnia (na czas kiedy hałas przeszkadza w pracy i nauce) można korzystać z pokojów
w DS2 (dopóki nie rozpocznie się termomodernizacja na tym akademiku), jako pokojów „cichej nauki”, a popołudniami (po zakończeniu prac remontowych) powrót do swojego stałego pokoju w DS7. Nie ma możliwości pozostania w DS2 na noc.
Jak to zrobić?
- Na portierni DS2 zostawiasz kartę mieszkańca i otrzymujesz klucz do pokoju.
- Po zakończeniu nauki/pracy zostawiasz klucz i odbierasz kartę mieszkańca.
Osoby, które chcą skorzystać z jednego z tych rozwiązań powinny zgłosić się mailowo do administratorów DS, w których obecnie mieszkają – pp. Anna Zydroń (anna.zydron@us.edu.pl)

Mamy nadzieję, że zaproponowane rozwiązania ułatwią wszystkim funkcjonowanie w tym niesprzyjającym czasie. Działania związane z termomodernizacją są konieczne, by podnieść standard mieszkań w akademikach na OA Ligota i zapewnić jeszcze lepsze warunki mieszkaniowe.

Dear Students, Residents of Student Residence Hall No. 7 (DS7),
the preparation work for the thermal modernisation, which will start in July, are underway. We are aware that the noise related to it might disrupt remote learning and work. Taking care of the comfort of carrying out daily university duties and other activities, and the best possible housing conditions in the University of Silesia student residence halls, we offer you a choice of temporary solutions, which will certainly reduce the problems related to the further preparation work.
During the works that disrupt daily work and learning at the student residence hall, you can use one of the following solutions:
- Change of the current place of residence and moving out to the Student Residence Hall No. 1 (DS1) or to a student residence hall at the Academic Housing Estate in Sosnowiec.
How to do it?
a) Contact the Administrator of the Student Residence Hall No. 7
b) Receive a card of change
c) Contact the Administrator of the selected student residence hall (Katowice DS1 sonnenfeld@us.edu.pl, Sosnowiec aleksandra.wollny@us.edu.pl ).
- During the day (when the noise disrupts work and learning) you can use rooms of the Student Residence Hall No. 2 (until the thermal modernisation process does not start there) as the “quiet learning“ rooms, and on the afternoons (after the works are finished) you can return to your room at the Student Residence Hall No. 7. There is no possibility of staying overnight at the Student Residence Halls No. 2.
How to do it?
- You leave your residence card at the porter’s lodge of the Student Residence Hall No. 2 and you receive a room key.
- After finishing your work/learning, you leave the key and collect your card.

We hope that the offered solutions will make it easier for everyone to function during this hard time. The actions related to the thermal modernisation are necessary to raise the housing standards in the student residence halls at the Academic Housing Estate Ligota and provide even better housing conditions.
