Announcement of a competition to increase the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of doctoral schools for the academic year 2023/2024
Announcement
On November 2, 2023, the Dean of the Doctoral School announces a competition to increase the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of Doctoral Schools as part of the Research Excellence Initiative for the academic year 2023/2024.
The aim of the competition is to select the top 10 percent of doctoral students in the second, third and fourth year of education, in particular fields of education at the Doctoral School and the International Environmental Doctoral School.
Persons submitting applications are obliged to familiarize themselves with the Regulations for awarding an increase in the doctoral scholarship for doctoral students of doctoral schools at the University of Silesia under the Research Excellence Initiative and the criteria constituting annexes to the Regulations: https://us.edu.pl/szkola-doktorska/zwiekszenie-stypendium-doktoranckiego-reguly-2023-2024/
Terms and the form of application
The application period will last until November 20, 2:00 p.m.
Applications in paper form should be submitted to the office of the doctoral school where the doctoral student is studying, during office hours. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Application forms
The application should be submitted on the form attached below, appropriate to the doctoral student’s field of education or school, in Polish or in English. No application in English is available for doctoral students in artistic disciplines (there are no non-Polish-speaking doctoral students in these disciplines).
