On 5-7 March 2025 in Chicago (USA) a prestigious international conference was held – the 11th Annual Conference on Genocide and Human Rights, organized by the Center for Genocide and Human Rights Research in Africa and the Diaspora at the Northeastern University of Illinois, which was attended by outstanding specialists in various fields dealing with the title issues.
The conference was actively attended by Joanna Nowakowska-Małusecka, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor and Małgorzata Myl-Chojnacka, PhD. In the Restorative Justice as an International Process panel, Prof. J. Nowakowska-Małusecka presented a paper entitled Restorative Justice for Victims of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, while in the Restorative Justice on the Ground panel, Dr. M. Myl-Chojnacka presented issues entitled Bosnia nad Herzegovina: 30 Years After Genocide – Between Expectations and (Im)possibilities.
