Representatives of the University of Silesia in Katowice are visiting the University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM) in Toledo. The representatives are chaired by Vice-Rector for Domestic and International Cooperation, Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski. The visit is also attended by Małgorzata Myśliwiec PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor – Plenipotentiary of the Dean for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia. Representation of the Spanish university includes: UCLM Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Raúl Martín Martín, and the UCLM Director for Cooperation with European Countries Prof. Sonia Merino Guijarro.
The main topic of the talks are the areas of possible bilateral cooperation. Both sides expressed particular interest in collaborating in the fields of computer science, management sciences, history and linguistics. The vice-rectors also paid attention to great possibilities in cooperation between doctoral schools.
