From 13th to 17th May 2014 delegation of university’s authorities and researchers from Ukraine visited university campus in Cieszyn.
Ukrainian delegation met with Professor Wiesław Banyś, Rector of the University of Silesia, and President of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP).
During the meeting officials of the Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University and University of Silesia in Katowice signed collaboration agreement. Both parties agreed to develop students and staff exchange, as well as joint educational and research initiatives.
From 14th to 15th May, guests participated in the conference “Education in a multicultural world – experiences and suggestions”.
The meeting was also a chance to establish new scientific research cooperation between Ukrainian universities and the University of Silesia in Katowice.
