Maciej Zubko, Ph.D. in Physics at the Faculty of Computer Science and Materials Science was awarded for the best Ph.D. thesis in 2012, defended in universities affiliated in the PROGRES 3 consortium. Contest was organized by the Rector of the Technical University Ostrava.
Maciej Zubko is the author of the thesis entitled “Modelling of short range order based on diffuse scattering in complex compounds crystals with spin transition (SCO) and in crystals with charge density wave (CDW)”.
Laureate currently works at the Structural Research Department at the Institute of Materials Science.
The award ceremony will take place on 28th of March in Ostrava.
