Dr Agata Daszkowska-Golec, Professor of the University of Silesia, Deputy Dean for Promotion of Research and Internationalisation at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Silesia, has won Polish Intelligent Development Prize 2020 in the ‘Scientist of the Future’ category. The distinction was awarded for the implementation of two projects entitled „Translational genomics approach to identify the mechanisms of CBP20 signalosome in Arabidopsis and barley under drought stress” and „Advanced tools for breeding barley for intensive and sustainable agriculture under climate change scenarios”.
