START scholarship of Foundation for Polish Science is a prestigious award for the most talented young researchers, granted for significant scientific achievements. Scientists up to 30 years of age, representing all fields of science, can take part in the competition. Among thousands of applications every year, the Foundation of Polish Science selects 100 winners who are granted scholarships in the amount of PLN 28,000. Applications can be submitted until 18 December 2020.

Dr Oskar Rojewski is a historian of art, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice. He specialises in analysing iconography of authority in European courts and studying court ceremonies in the modern times.
