Results of the call for proposals for module designs as part of the University Educational Offer for the academic year 2023/2024
From 1 to 28 February 2023, there was an ongoing call for proposals for the design of modules to be implemented as part of the University Educational Offer (OOD) for 2nd cycle studies in the academic year 2023/2024. The call for proposals was very popular – almost 200 module designs were submitted. On 15 March 2023, the module evaluation committee summed up the results. As a result of the committee’s work, ranking lists were created, according to the division into general academic modules (MOG), general academic social modules (MOS) and academic humanities modules (MOH), which can be found on the website of the University Educational Offer in the tab module design call for proposals. We invite those interested to familiarise themselves with the information.
The full offer of modules for the 2023/2024 academic year under the University Educational Offer, divided into general academic modules, general academic social modules and academic humanities modules, will be closed and announced by 15 April 2023[1].
The organisers of the call for proposals, expressing thanks for the great commitment of our community of dormitories in creating a new offer extending the field-specific education, emphasise the high substantive quality of the submitted proposals.
Similar calls for proposals will be announced before the start of each subsequent academic year. All those interested will be able to propose modules that will enrich the education of 2nd cycle students at the University of Silesia multiple times.
[1] According to sub-s. 5, para. 3 of Ordinance No. 155 of the Rector of the University of Silesia in Katowice of 13 September 2021, the General Academic Didactic Offer, including general academic, general academic (social) and general academic (humanities) modules, is announced by the OOD Council by 15 April of the year preceding the academic year in which the modules within a given OOD will be implemented.
