Prof. Dariusz Rott from the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice joined the international group of higher education experts assessing the reputation of universities as part of two subsequent editions of the annual QS Global Academic Survey ranking.
This ranking is an important indicator of the prestigious QS World University Rankings – the second most recognisable ranking, next to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (commonly called the Shanghai List), listing the best universities in the world at the global, regional, subject and programme level. The ranking has been published since 2004 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), together with Times Higher Education. In this ranking, the position of a university depends 40% on the opinion of a group of experts – university lecturers. Prof. Dariusz Rott was submitted to the expert database by the Strategy Department of Masaryk University in Brno.
