Daria Socha, student of Law and Journalism and Social Communication, studying as part of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies, became a finalist of the Student Nobel Prize in the social activity category.
The Student Nobel Prize is the only scholarship programme created by a student organisation. It is addressed to university students from all over Poland who stand out with their ambition, hard work and commitment. Independent Students’ Association wants the programme to help young people develop their hobbies and interests, and particularly to motivate them to undertake further actions.
Daria Socha undertakes various activities with full commitment. She is Vice-Chair for Legal and Financial Affairs at the Future Diplomats Foundation, member of the Audit Committee at the Independent Students’ Association of the University of Silesia, coordinator of student organisations at the College of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies Student Government Council. Additionally, she implements the ‘Diplomacy in Action’ project as part of the European Solidarity Corps.
