Alicja Klasik wins the bronze medal of the Olympic Games 2024!

Alicja Klasik, student of the University of Silesia, together with the Polish fencing team, won bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Paris. In the fight for 3rd place, the Polish team: Martyna Swatowska-Wenglarczyk, Alicja Klasik, Renata Knapik-Miazga and Aleksandra Jarecka won against the Chinese team. This is the 300th medal of the Polish athletes in the history of the Summer Olympic Games, as well as the first Olympic medal won by Polish women in the team fencing competition.

Alicja Klasik is a student of Human Resource Management in Organisation at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia. In April 2024, she won the title of Polish Fencing Champion 2024 and thus secured her participation in the Olympic Games. She started her adventure with fencing at the age of 8 and to this day she is constantly honing her talent.
