The National Science Centre has published the results of the MINITAURA 9 call for proposals, the aim of which is to support scientific activities leading to the preparation of a future research project. The grant could be obtained for preliminary and pilot studies, queries, research internships, or research and consulting trips.
Laureates from the University of Silesia
- Tomasz Kasprzak, PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia received funding for preliminary research in the scientific project ‘Being a deafblind employee in Poland and Lithuania – on the (non-)presence of deafblind people on the job market” (PLN 36,529),
- Edyta Matyja, PhD Eng. from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Silesia received funding for preliminary research in the scientific project ‘Production and characterisation of multicomponent Heusler alloy powders Ni-Co-Mn-In-Fe-Cr, obtained by mechanical synthesis for use as starting materials in 3D printing technology and the production of functional composites’ (PLN 49,610).
