Summer break is a good moment to invest in professional development. Every Wednesday of July, August, and September, the Career Office organises training from labour market representatives. The trainings will allow gaining and developing skills useful in professional and private life, as well as deepening individual interests.

“Power of PowerPoint” will allow participants getting to know interesting functions of PowerPoint and their practical usage;
- 14 July 2021 – i2 Analytical
“Quality Management – Trend, Fashion, or Factual Need?” workshop in the systems of quality management in the laboratory field’
- 21 July 2021 – EQ System
“Recruitment Dodge – How to Choose Employers Wisely and Risk-Free” training will cover the topic of risk during searching for the dream job offers in the IT sector. Students will receive information on how to handle well uncomfortable recruitment situations;
- 28 July 2021 – Keywords Studios
“Road to Success – first steps in an international company and how to deal with new duties and privileges after promotion” training will cover the topic of self-development, things waiting for us after promotion, and how to deal with them;

“Competencies of the Future” will get participants familiar with results of a report on changes in the labour market in Poland and will show competencies desired by employers in the future;
- 11 August 2021 – EQ System
“The Practices of Writing Clean Code – Good Programmer Companion” training is to get familiar with and learn good practices in writing clean code;
- 18 August 2021 – i2 Analytical
“Innovation and Creativity – Is There a Space for Creative Thinking in a Lab?” will cover the topic of innovation in laboratory conditions;
- 25 August 2021 – PwC SDC
“Excel tips& tricks” will teach participants how to use functions in Excel to facilitate their work;

„Let’s Teal Up – Introduction of Teal Practices in a Team Inside a Hierarchical Organisation” training will give an answer whether it is possible to establish an entirely self-managed team inside a hierarchical organisation;

“We Have to Talk… – We Disenchant Feedback” workshop will cover the topic of feedback and how should look its ideal most effective version;

„100% Player 1 – How to Successfully Transition From a Player to the Gaming Industry” training will be carried out in English and will cover the key role of a player and how they can become a part of a team of the gaming industry; - 29 September 2021 – Keywords Studios
„12 Shades of Being a Modern Leader – All You Have to Know About Establishing And Leading a Team” training will be a compendium of knowledge about how to start, develop, and maintain a team, which wants to work together and constantly develop.
Participants
The project is addressed to students and graduates of the University of Silesia who wish to develop their skills and increase their chances in the labour market.
Enrolment
Enrolment starts a week before each training and is carried out via a website. Information about individual training can be found on the Career Office website.
