Dagmara Drzazga, PhD, DLitt, Associate Professor from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice was the winner of the National Reportage Competition ‘Melchiory 2023″’ She was awarded the ‘Złoty Melchior’ (Golden Melchior) statuette in the category ‘inspiration of the year’ for ‘finding her own, difficult form of telling the story of a hero living in symbiosis with the environment he lives in.’
The competition is organised by the Polish Radio Reportage and Documentary Studio. 61 radio works, 28 reportages and 31 documentaries were submitted to this year’s 26th edition. This is her second distinction in this competition – the first one was awarded five years ago.
